Practice Manager
This position will manage the day-to-day operations of the
hospital, reporting directly to the owner. Must have positive attitude, be able to work well with others, and
must be mature and responsible.
Duties & Responsibilities: Broad responsibility in the
areas of Personnel Management, Facilities & Equipment
Management, Inventory Management, Financial Management,
Marketing, Process Management, Safety & Risk Management,
Regulatory Compliance. Expected to cover staff shifts as
needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Computer Skills: General computer skills are necessary
for our paperless practice; QuickBooks 2008 or higher, IntraVet
or comparable practice management software, Microsoft Office
2000 or higher (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Veterinary Experience: Veterinary experience in any
position is preferred.
Education: B.A. or B.S. in Business or Management
related fields. Candidate may substitute 5+ years
experience in comparable managerial or supervisory position.
Salary & Benefits: Commensurate with experience.
Minimum salary $40,000 per year. Eligible for merit
bonuses. Health reimbursement plan. Retirement
matching up to 3% of base salary. Generous pet care

paid holidays. Ten paid personal days off.
Hours: Forty to fifty hours per week. Flextime
offered. Must be available about two Saturdays per month.
