Surgery is a major event for your pet, and often a
large financial investment for owners. For this reason, many
people will shop around. But it is very important that you
understand that surgery is not the same at all facilities, and
therefore the price can vary widely. There are many specific
questions you should ask before you schedule a surgical
procedure. Below you will find a summary of what we do at Four
Paws Animal Hospital & Wellness Center. For a full
description, download "Surgery
and Your Pet: What you need to know" (PDF).

We are proud to be a Laser Surgical Facility.
In most cases,
laser surgery
results in less post-operative bleeding, swelling, and pain for
your pet. Laser
surgery has a dramatic beneficial impact on the pain level
and recovery time of declaw surgeries in cats.
The following are some of the
surgeries that we can perform at our facility:
- Spay
- Neuter
- Declaw
- Growth removals
- Cystotomy (bladder surgery)
- Cherry eye repair
- C-section
- Enucleation (eye removal)
- Laceration repair
- Foreign body removal
- Exploratory laparotomy (abdominal surgery)
Your pets are important to you, and
it is important that we provide the best possible care for them.
We have invested heavily in our facilities, equipment, staff,
and education to make the best surgical care available.
You can have peace of mind when your pet has surgery at Four
Paws Animal Hospital.
